For the 2020 model year, Toyota introduces two new trim levels for the Tundra. This brings its total amount of model and trim configurations up to 17.
The two new trims for the Tundra full-size pickup are the TRD Sport Premium and the TRD Off Road premium. The new TRD Off Road Premium elaborates on the regular Off Road model by adding Connected Services by Toyota and other features like premium audio and navigation. Other upgrades include leather seating, dual-zone automatic climate control, blind spot monitoring and a spray-in bed liner.
Of course, the TRD Off Road Premium also comes with all of the features of the base Off Road trim, like the Bilstein shock absorbers, all-terrain tires and fuel tank protector plates.
The new TRD Sport Premium embellishes the TRD Sport trim. It adds many of the same features that the TRD Off Road Premium adds to the TRD Off Road, such as navigation and premium audio.
These two new trims are perfect if you want high-end luxury, but still need to have a TRD-level of off-road capability. However, if you prefer a trim with the most functionality, tech, and comfort on the inside, go with the range-topping 4×4 CrewMax Platinum trim.
